  1. I know the feeling, I spent most of last week staring at the screen. But then I gave up staring and just started typing lines. Some were just sentence with the prompt word in it, some were just sentences that came into my head. Most of them went no where but there was an occasional line I could build on. I find it much easier to stare at a line of text than a blank screen.

    1. Thank you so much for the advice. I’ve tried that out and just let myself type away and managed to press publish before I had the chance to second think and trash it instead.
      Hopefully more posts will be shared.

  2. I know the feeling dear. I’ve been off for more than a week too. You could do this, take a walk around a relatively cool and beautiful place and allow yourself to be lost in its beauty, allow yourself some think space. Write anything that comes to your head. Even if you aren’t going to publish it. Write something everyday: a short narrative, micro poetry, a line that made sense to you at that moment, anything. Just don’t stop writing. On the thing I noticed is, once you stop, getting back to it is difficult (because you get lazy).

    1. Thank you so much. I’ve been off for so long and apologise for this late reply. I definitely agree with the last part, and I know that I’m having difficulty starting again but with all the beautiful and wonderful comments I’ve got, hopefully I’ll start posting again 🙂
